This policy describes how U85 Tech Ltd (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with u85tech.com (this website) and the mobile apps we publish, including U85 Tech, Puzzle, Tracker, and Invoicely for iOS.

Summary

We do not sell your data. Our apps are designed to work entirely on-device wherever possible and do not send your photos or personal content to our servers.

Website (u85tech.com)

This site is a static website. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

• Server logs: Our hosting provider may process standard connection data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver the site securely.
• Fonts: The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address when those assets are requested. See Google's privacy policy.
• Contact form: If you submit the contact form, your message and email address are delivered to us via a third-party form service so we can reply. We only use this information to respond to you.
• Email links: If you tap an email link, your email client opens locally on your device. We only receive a message if you choose to send one.

U85 Tech (iOS App)

U85 Tech is our business companion app for prospective clients to scope software projects and request quotes.

• On-device AI scoping: On supported devices, project scoping questions and brief generation use Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework. This processing happens entirely on your device; scoping conversations are not uploaded to us or to Apple's servers for this feature. You choose a Technical or Business audience at the start, which only affects the wording and depth of the on-device questions.
• Document understanding: Photos and PDFs you attach are analysed on-device using Apple's Vision framework (OCR). On Apple Intelligence devices, optional on-device summarisation may also run before you submit.
• What we receive on submit: When you send a quote request, we receive your contact details (name, email, company), your completed brief, wizard answers, and any attachments you chose to include. We use this only to prepare and deliver a formal quote. The app does not generate or send price estimates — pricing is determined by us after review.
• Push notifications: If you allow notifications, we store a device token linked to your quote so we can notify you when quote status changes (for example, when a formal PDF is ready). You can disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
• Local drafts: In-progress quotes are stored on your device using SwiftData until you submit or delete them.
• App Attest: API requests from the app may include Apple App Attest assertions to reduce abuse. This does not include your project content.
• No advertising or third-party analytics: U85 Tech does not contain ads or third-party analytics SDKs.

Puzzle (iOS App)

Puzzle turns a photo you choose into a jigsaw puzzle you can solve on your device.

• Data collection: Puzzle does not collect, store, or transmit your photos, puzzles, or personal data to us or to any third-party analytics or advertising service.
• On-device processing: Photo analysis and puzzle-title generation use Apple's on-device Foundation Models and Vision frameworks. This processing happens entirely on your device; nothing is uploaded to us or to Apple's servers.
• Photo & camera access: Puzzle asks for permission to access your photo library or camera only so you can choose or take a picture to turn into a puzzle. Photos you don't select are never read or transmitted.
• No accounts, no ads: Puzzle does not require sign-in and contains no advertising or third-party SDKs.

Tracker (iOS App)

Tracker shows your live speed and records journeys (route, distance, duration, speed) that you start and stop yourself.

• Location access: Tracker asks for location access only while the app is in use ("When In Use"). Tracker never requests or uses "Always" location access, and does not track you in the background outside of an active, user-started journey.
• On-device processing and storage: Speed, distance, and route data are calculated and stored on your device. Journey titles and summaries, where available, are generated entirely on-device using Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework — no journey data is sent to us or to Apple's servers for this processing.
• iCloud sync: If you're signed in to iCloud, your journeys sync across your own devices via Apple's CloudKit, using your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this data — it stays within your iCloud account, governed by Apple's privacy policy.
• No accounts, no ads, no analytics: Tracker does not require sign-in, and contains no advertising, third-party analytics, or third-party SDKs. We do not receive your location, routes, or speed data.
• Live Activities & widgets: Live Activity and widget data (current speed, distance, elapsed time) is shared only between Tracker and its widget extension on your own device via an app group, and is never transmitted off-device by us.

Invoicely (iOS App)

Invoicely is a free invoicing and quoting app for freelancers and small businesses, with no accounts, subscriptions, or limits.

• No account, no analytics, no ads: Invoicely does not require sign-in and contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. We — the developer — never see your business details, clients, or invoices.
• On-device storage: Businesses, clients, invoices, quotes, and line items are stored on your device using SwiftData.
• iCloud sync: If you turn on iCloud, your data also syncs through your own private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit, so it's available on your other devices. We do not have access to this data — it stays within your iCloud account, governed by Apple's privacy policy. With iCloud off, Invoicely works fully offline.
• On-device AI: On supported devices, Invoicely can draft invoices, scan handwritten notes into line items, polish descriptions, and draft payment reminders using Apple's on-device Foundation Models and Vision frameworks. This runs entirely on your device — nothing you type or scan is sent to us or to Apple's servers for this feature.
• Camera & photo library: Invoicely accesses the camera or your photo library only when you choose to scan a document or set a business logo. Images are processed on-device and are not uploaded anywhere.
• Contacts: If you use "Fill from Contacts" to add a client, the details you pick are copied into that client record on your device. We do not otherwise read or transmit your contacts.
• Notifications: If you allow notifications, Invoicely schedules local reminders for recurring, due, and overdue invoices entirely on your device. No reminder content is sent to us.
• Export and sharing: When you export a backup or share a PDF, it goes wherever you choose via the iOS share sheet. That's your action; we are not involved beyond generating the file.

Children

Neither the website nor our apps are directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version.
